Church

You can go to see the church. It stands on the hill and is 25m high. The church was built with socage in 1847. In former times the people who lived below in Obfelden they sat on the left side and the people who lived upstairs they sat on the right side. Now it isnt so.

By the way: Obfelden is the only church from canton Zurich with bellssaying from Gottfried Keller.

Bchler Olma

It has taken place for 14 years. You can see a lot of cattle.

The aim of Olma is:
- healthy cattle breed
- a good milk performance and a very good meat yield.

The best cattle is awarded a prize. Its very funny because after this award its a very good party with many people.

Restaurant Lwen

When you have hungry you can go to the restaurant Lwen. Its very good food. Every month you have other meals from other countries. The boy where are you bring your meal speak French and German because he was born in Wallis. He is very funny. The price is not so high and you get to eat a lot on your plate.

Villa Stehli

You can go to the Villa Stehli. In front of the house you have a very nice park with a pond. They have a lot of trees and many flowers. The house is old an very famous, because the film Heidi was filming in this house. You can see in the film Claras and Heidis bedroom.

Library

Do you like reading? They have a lot of books and they have three persons who can help you look for a special book. Once every three months there came an author and presents his books. Its very interesting.

Open-air swimming pool

Do you like swimming? You have two possibilities to go swimming.

First

Do you like swimming in a pool? Its very new. It was built in 1999. The pool is very big and the water is cool. The man who is looking after the restaurant is friendly, because the people buy a lot of ice-cream.

Second

Do you like swimming in a river? You can go in the Reuss. It is very nice when the weather is good and it has a lot of water. When it havent a lot of water it isnt so funny, because you can walk in the river.

Advantage: You can go swimming with your dog!
